I was unprepared for what I felt. The only way I could express the feelings that it conjured was to write a song with my musical collaborator Tom Adams.

People always ask me to go to Graceland when they visit me at my home in Memphis, but I always pass. Afterall, I was there when Elvis was alive. But when I was writing my memoir Cybill Disobedience I decided to go back to Graceland after 25 years to research my encounters with Elvis.I was unprepared for what I felt. The only way I could express the feelings that it conjured was to write a song with my musical collaborator Tom Adams.
